The monthly Android version battle - November
Introduction I've skipped the August update because of a lack of time. In October Google did not publish new statistics so there was no item for that month either. Now lets see if the estimations from July where close by the real numbers or not even close. Show me the numbers To state the obvious, the estimations from July are in line with the numbers from now. KitKat is still increasing in a fast pace. Only android 4.2 keeps on increasing as well (although with mini steps). The rest is all decreasing in a steady pace. Android Lollipop (5.0) is the new kid from the block but does not have any market share yet. This will change since Nexus upgrades have already been announced. In the numbers below I did leave out the increase and decrease amount because of Google lacking to provide numbers in October so the stats are off on the monthly comparison.
